Over the last 12 months I've read The Revolutionary Samuel Adams, The Destiny of the Republic, The Indifferent Stars Above, Never in Anger, and I Was a Doctor in Auschwitz, and I have loved how much I have learned about people/circumstances that I might only have heard about on the surface level or not at all. Some were more exciting than others, but it's really got me on a non-fiction kick, especially historical non-fiction. As for more modern stuff, I also finished Educated, My Body, The Body Keeps the Score, and I'm Glad My Mom Died. I enjoyed those, and am currently working through The Glass Castle.

Any suggestions of non-fiction that will blow my mind? Bonus if it becomes all I talk about when I get drunk at parties (my friends know way more about the assassination of Pres. Garfield than they ever wanted to now).
