I'm going to be switching from Audible to Libro here soon, and I've got 8 credits to burn. But I don't want to burn them on just random stuff I won't enjoy, and I'm a bit picky.

As far as tastes, I'm not really sure, so I'll just post the books I've enjoyed throughout my life to see if anyone has any recommendations 🙂

In elementary I read and enjoyed the Deltora series.

In middle school/highschool the big standouts were The Chronicles of Vladimir Todd, and the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series.

Recently, I've picked up a few different titles, some I enjoyed, some I REALLY enjoyed, and some that weren't for me.

I enjoyed Dracula quite a bit. More than I thought I would.

Perks to being a Wallflower was REALLY impressive. I remember thinking it was beautiful at the time and definitely make me feel… Idk. Complete? It felt really nice.

I read Ann Rice's Interview with a Vampire, and it was pretty good… But it left me kinda sad and melancholic in the end.

But that lead to me reading Legends and Lattes when I looked at books to make you feel better when you're sad. And man. That book was really nice. Made me feel all fuzzy. So I definitely enjoyed the vibe.

Following the train of "Cozy Fantasy" I tried out Psalm of the Wild Build, but I didn't really care for it. Not sure why, I just couldn't get into it. I finished it, but I had no joy in consuming it. I want to like Becky Chambers because I've heard really great things, and the summary of the book made me want to read it, but I just didn't enjoy it :/

Recently I tried the Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, because the description sounded right up my alley, but I couldn't really get into it.

I also tried out Skyward by Brandon Sanderson, but I stopped after a few chapters. Wasn't for me.

Scythe was an excellent read. The ending was so perfect for me that I'm afraid to read the sequels for fear of ruining it.

And Ready Player One I supremely enjoyed.

Oh! Enders Game as well. I read that one in highschool and I remember really enjoying it.

Edit: I also enjoyed The Giver, but didn't enjoy Gathering Blue.

Anyone have any recommendations based on my tastes? Or even what genre I should check out?
