I'd like books like: Star Trek when it's heavily interpersonal and less boring politics/space war — like Discovery. Soapy, a little campy, twisty when it needs to be.
Crossed with Desperate Housewives. Or even Pretty Little Liars, but less horror-y. Nothing too gory or cerebral.
Female-centric is a must. Space fashion would be fun. YA is okay. I'm neutral on sex scenes, I just skip them anyway.
Anyone got anything?

Mary Robinette Kowal’s Lady Astronaut series, starts with The Calculating Stars. Might be a little more cerebral than you want but has great interpersonal drama.
The Lunar Chronicles are sci-fi retelling of fairy tales, YA.
Jessie Mihalik, Everina Maxwell and Jennifer Estep all have fun romance series which are in sci-fi but not extremely science based-all about tech- type writing.
