I'm looking for a book for my book club. We've had a string of heavy books, and I feel the club is drifting apart. I want my next pick to be easy to read and captivating. I often read top bestsellers and found them to be good overall.
What are some good solid choices?
Preferably something not too long (max 300 pages) and female author, but otherwise no preference 🙂

Housemaid by Freida McFadden is a perfect page turner: gripping, fast paced, good twist(s) and overall an easy read.
