Two kids are neighbors in a suburban neighborhood. This girl keeps chickens in their backyard and gifts the other one fresh eggs. His parents freak out that they might get salmonella if they eat them, so they make him throw the eggs out. Eventually he has some sort of obsession with her. Does this ring any bells for anyone?
