Anyway, I love getting engrossed in novel series, and currently at a loss of what I should read. I will list my favorite books so if you can recommend something similar, please do.

The Count of Monte Cristo – Alexandre Dumas
The Clifton Chronicles – Jeffrey Archer
I recently finished the Gentleman Bastards and looking for similar themes but please feel free to recommend whatever you feel like.

I also want to read the Kingkillers Chronicles, The Path of The Wind. However I know its been unfinished for long, with no news in sight, so I don’t want to start another series that possibly comes to a cliffhanging dead end
The Dragonlance series is huge, classic fantasy, several authors have written them. I’d say start with the trilogies written by the world’s creators Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman.
I would absolutely recommend the Codex Alera books. It starts with the Furies of Calderon by Jim Butcher!
