Kinky Friedman, satirical writer and musician died today. He was 79.
My first Kinky book was Elvis, Jesus and Coca-Cola. I went on to read everyone of them after that. He never failed to make me laugh out loud. His writing was satirical, compassionate, irreverent, and always funny.
