I know this probably sounds strange but bear with me. I'm doing a book bingo challenge and there is a square for "BIPOC Romance". I barely read fiction and I especially don't tend to read romance novels. I'm a big fan of narrative nonfiction. In terms of fiction, I tend to limit myself to scifi and classics.
My partner suggested a book about the Loving v. Virginia court case which I am strongly considering, but I'd love other options or some specific book suggestions about that case.
I'd consider a highly recommended fiction book if it doesn't have detailed or long sex scenes. It's just so hard to select books without too much sex as someone unfamiliar with the romance genre.
