Asking this out of pure curiosity, so let’s imagine a situation. You are dating someone and finally get to visit their house. While giving you a tour around the place, they point to a small bookshelf near bed and say something along the lines of “I keep my favourite books here”. What book choice would leave you mortified? And the opposite, which one will make you exited?

Update: Wow, I went out for work after I posted this and came back to more than 400 replies. If I get enough time to read everything, maybe I should make a ranking of books that are mentioned most often in this comment section.
Update №2: There is not enough specific replies for a rating, but most mentioned red flag favourite authors are : Ayn Rand, Jordan Peterson, and (what a surprise) Adolf Hitler.
Most mentioned green flag is having books. There are also a variety of mentioned authors, but none of them sticks out to be most loved by the community. Though out of personal bias, it is Sir Terry Pratchett.
