For the past few years I have given my father in law a nonfiction book for Christmas every year. He loves this tradition and regularly talks about how great the books I give him are, shares them with other people, etc.
The problem is, I've been reading a lot of fiction for work and I just haven't done any reading for pleasure lately so I haven't had the time to find and read any great books. To be clear: I still intend to read whatever I give him. But I'm hoping you can make some suggestions for what I should read, because I don't currently have the luxury to read a whole bunch to find the best one.
The three he has loved from the past few years are:
The Feather Thief by Kirk Wallace Johnson
At Home by Bill Bryson
Entangled Life by Merlin Sheldrake
