i’m looking for a book long enough to last me a 5 day holiday.. fresh feeling and fresh plot. my fave books this year have been “i who have never known men”-jaqueline harpman, “our wives under the sea” and “private rites”- julia armfield, and “a little luck”- claudia pińiero, if that helps. although i’ve realised a lot of my reads this year have been quite .. somber, so looking for something a bit more fresh and happy but still gripping!!!!
