I specifically am looking for books with an emphasis on the immediate aftermath and has different perspectives. I love when the story gets deep into the consequences
I feel like I’ve read all of the commonly mentioned ones.
Ones I’ve read:
- The Stand
- World War Z
- Station Eleven
- Swan Song
- The Road
I loved these so much and am craving more

Dies the Fire by S. M. Stirling
The Ashfall trilogy by Mike Mullin is a good read. Also, How I Live Now by Meg Rosoff and Into the Forest by Jean Hegland. Although I don’t believe any of them have multiple narrators, they are still great for that apocalyptic theme.
It’s YA, but *This Delicious Death* by Kayla Cottingham is excellent! It’s about trauma, healing, and found family, there’s even a zombie with an ED.
