Hello! I'm about to finish "Murder at the Blarney Bash" by Darci Hannah. It's the last one in the series that has an audiobook so I need to move on and find something else. I have also read and really enjoyed the Kate Turner, DVM cozy mysteries by Eileen Brady. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I prefer no magic involved but I'm willing to take a chance. Anything you know of that is set in a small town with quirky characters, along with murders that are solved by the end? It does need to be on audiobook as I have 3 small kids and don't really have time to sit and crack open an actual novel unfortunately.
I did try "The Diva Runs Out of Thyme" but the narrator just didn't work for me. I've also read numerous Agatha Christie's so I'm pretty much caught up on those.
Definitely prefer something that is a series. The more books in the series the better!

Everything by M.C. Beaton
You might like the Sunshine Vicram series, starting with A Bad Day for Sunshine, by Darynda Jones. It’s a trilogy and each book has a self-contained mystery plus a longer mystery connecting the series.
