I will be moving to teaching high school life skills this coming school year. The previous teacher told me that the kids don’t like to check out books from the library because the books at their level (pictures books) are seen as too childish.
I’m looking for picture books that are geared towards high school students/adults. Still a lower reading level, but that address teenage themes and wont’ feel childish to my students.
