Hi!
This mind seem like a weird requests, since most (if not all) books tell a story in some way. However, recently I have been reading a lot of books that are very character driven, books that use unconventional ways of storytelling and books that sometimes border on poetry – which I have been enjoying, but now I am craving a good old-fashioned story that I can really get lost in.
bonus points if:
– despite being plot driven, there are complex characters that are well fleshed out
– the story involves a family / deals with family dynamics in some way
– the story encompasses multiple generations / a long timespan
– the story feels really sprawling and big in a way
One example of a book that I really enjoyed is East of Eden, so I would probably enjoy anything similar to that!
