After reading the Three body problem and Blindsight, I thought about going for another horror book, but non-scifi or traditional.

Can anyone recomend anything different? Maybe something Medieval or post apocalyptic?

Mistborn by Branden Sanderson: Horror/post apocalypse/(high?) Fantasy. A world after the apocalypse covered in ash and stalked by strange creatures in the mist.

I’m sure I know others but I can’t remember them off the top of my head, sorry. I’ll make another post if I remember them but I only started writing down my reading this year.

Edit: Cypher by Kathe koja. I haven’t read it in years and didn’t like it, but it is very unique. It’s modern day, but it’s about a couple who finds a weird hole. It’s a horror story about a hole. The premise is cool. I personally think “a weird hole” is a compelling enough genre of fiction I’ve read a book, seen 3 movies, and played 2 video games about it.
