Hi! I recently read "Real Americans" by Rachel Khong and "The Lion Women of Tehran" by Marjan Kamali, both Book of the Month picks. I absolutely loved both of them so so much.
I love historical fiction and stories about badass women warriors who have been through or seen some shit. In the past, I've read Kristin Hannah's "The Nightingale" and "The Women" which were both 5/5 reads for me and have a spot on my favorite books of all time. Are we sensing a little theme here? Haha.
I'm looking for a book in a similar vein as the examples above or with the same vibes as some of my overall top faves listed below that aren't historical fiction but more contemporary/lit fiction.
