Hi all! whoops posted this on r/ literature first and then realized this is the sub I'd been meaning to ask lol
I'd really appreciate if anyone has recommendations for fiction books from the Soviet era, particularly from authors outside Russia whose pen names would be more difficult for me to find when I'm googling this same question. Books which likely would have been banned at the time and likely written by authors in exile. Currently reading The Joke by Kundera (whom I adore) and have read Solzhenitsyn, Bulgakov and Tsvetaeva in the past.
