Suggest me a book to help me learn about new cultures
Hi yall! You guys seem like a real chill bunch so I'd love if you could recommend me a book that could help bridge my understanding of different cultures, ethnicities, and nationalities. Anything helps, thank you so much.
The Basque History of the World by Mark Kurlansky is a fascinating look at a European culture group that is little understood, but with a long rich history.

A Voyage Long And Strange by Tony Horwitz is a great introduction to what actually happened in the Americas when the Spanish and Portuguese landed, and what all the different cultures that encountered each other were like. Very, very readable and accurate.

The Black Forest: Its History and Legends by Lisbeth Seguin is all about the villages across Germany’s Black Forest.
