I’m just popping in here to say Agustina Bazterrica’s new book ((Nineteen Claws and a Black Bird)) is amazing so far. It is a short story collection, and at 176 pages it is a quick read.
No spoilers here, so I’m just going to say that when I finished the story “Roberto”, I jumped up from my chair and said YES!! and I have not felt this way about short stories since Sandra Cisneros. Ok I’m done. Go get the book, if only to read Roberto.

This author is on my “to-read” list so nice to hear about their other works
i bought them both in paper, at barnes and noble the other day. the short story collection is nearly as good as the novel. definitely become one of my favorite writers. i don’t buy much paper anymore (mostly switched to ebooks and audiobooks), but i definitely think it’s woeth having paper copies of her books. i bought tender is the flesh originally on kindle. so i’ve purchased it twice. one of my favorite books/authors.
I should look for this.
