Hey all, I would like an updated list of books on how to talk to strangers in the places we go to in our normal lives, and also the new places we go to try to meet new people.
I wanted to start a new thread on this because the research I've done so far has suggested I need to read "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie, "How To Talk To Strangers" by MG, and some of the more popular books I see constantly being suggested on Reddit. I'm definitely aware of these books, and see mixed reviews on so many books that have been out for a while.
If anyone has a suggestion on a book that has as of recently changed their perspective on the matter, especially in a post Covid environment, and is more up-to-date, I would love to hear your suggestion. If you feel like Malcolm Gladwell or Dale Carnegie has resonated with you in 2024, I would love to hear that too. I don't want to read a book filled with fluff and no substance! Such is life.
