Hi! I am putting together a book bag for my SILs bridal shower. I ordered a custom tote and I'd love to fill it with books. I would like to follow the wedding theme and get her an Old, a new, a borrowed and a blue book. The only catch is I don't want the books to be about weddings.
Books she has liked: The Women by Kristin Hannah, The Sarah J Maas Court of Roses series, The Sympathizer, the Iron Wing Series. She's a major Harry Potter fan but will read anything. She also loves to cook and bake.
Here's what I've thought of so far-
Old: Something that was popular in the past. Shogun by James Cavell, My Life in France by Julia Childs.
New: Something released this year.
Borrowed: A book about stolen or borrowed time, thievery, something being borrowed and given back.
Blue: This could either have a blue cover or have a sad/blue theme. Maybe it takes place in the ocean?
Anyway, suggest me some books!
