Please suggest me a book…
I know what genre/ type of things I like when it comes to tv shows so can someone suggest a book similar to that, please.
The shows I like:
Main point = Usually something that is dark and heavy/emotional, but is also heartfelt/cry at, AND at times light hearted. Tragic and hopeful. Often life is hard or has been hard in the story for a character (excluding using it for a villain arc). I like things that shows how hard life can be YET includes the slivers of the beauty there can be too, or light-heartedness.
I don't want romance or strong romance books.
I don't like horror or gore. Weird exception is some Zombie movie's but I don't think I'd like to read that.
Don't mind/fine in media with violence and or justice if the "bad guys" are getting it e.g in "Revenge of Others/Third Person Revenge"
I would love a book that includes a good friendship (e.g. in coming of age shows,) (or like the trio in Castlevania lol), people looking out for each and kindness (the whole book doesn't have to be like it obviously)
Don't want a book with heavily detailed rape/sexual abuse scenes.
Also, I can't do really descriptive books. I can still remember to this day being a kid/teenager and I could never read any of Michael Morpurgo books because of his style of writing/amount of detail that for my preference is "unnecessary". Also, I remember someone telling me I'd hate Tolkien books because he writes page/pages?? Describing a tree… I don't like people using advanced words for the sake of it imo or feel like I'm reading something where someone has constantly used a thesaurus… You get the point.

Cargo (the hobbit man actor)
The Kingdom (K drama)
Kikis Delivery service (studio Ghibli)

Squid game + Alice in borderland however a bit sadistic or sex scenes were supposed seem entertaining or something so wouldn't want to read about those aspects
Hell bound (K drama) love characters like that main character
Revenge of others (k drama)
Taxi driver (kdrama show , not movie)
Bojack Horseman
All of us are dead (kdrama)
Not the show, but backstory in At A Distance Spring is Green (K drama)
Treasure Planet (Cartoon movie)
etc.
Any character like daryl Dixon 🤣and daryl and carol/Daryl and Beth etc. friendships
