Ok, so, as much as I dont want to have absolutely loved "Butcher & Blackbird" and then "Leather & Lark", by Brynne Weaver – I freaking did and they're all I can think about! I'm not a typical "romance, smut, chick lit" kinda gal but these totally hit the sweet spot with crime/horror/romance. I just finished Lucy Foley's new book, "The Midnight Feast," and was completely underwhelmed – normally I LOVE her. So, here I am asking for recs that are in the same vein or near a Brynne Weaver book. Thoughts? 🙂
