Hey everyone!! I love reading challenges and I want to start collecting titles for next year's challenge already. For the past two years, my challenge has been to read through my TBR. I've dedicated two years to this because I give away 90% of books I finish and, after getting hung up on the Ender's Game universe and Chuck Palahniuk, I spend nearly three years acquiring books but reading few and getting rid of none.

Anyway, why I'm reaching out, I have never really given MASSIVE books a try. I'd say the last book I read that was close to "massive" was Goblet of Fire of Order of the Phoenix. YA, I know but the page count was big. The past two years, I have taken down several books in the 500 page range but have recently been gifted some ~1000 page fantasy novels and my sci-fi brain has gotten me very interested in Neal Stephenson.

So what are some of your massive books that you loved? My goal is to read 1-2 a quarter or between 5k and 8k+ pages.

Currently, I have the following but I'm open to suggestions:

Neal Stephenson – Read Me and Cryptonomicom
Brandon Sanderson – The Way of the King
John Gwyne – The Shadow of the Gods
Tom Wolfe – A Man in Full

Those are a pretty good representation of what types of stuff I like so fire away!
