I want a book about apocalypse.

I am looking for a book that mainly describes a plausible apocalypse from different points of view from around the world. I would not mind a post apocalyptic book if the apocalypse itself is well described or be a large part of the said post apocalyptic book. Thank you. Also I can read English and French in case you think of something not translated yet.
