I broke my ankle and I'm basically stuck at home for at least another month, slowly going out of my mind. I haven't been able to get into fiction lately, so I'm hoping non-fiction might pass the hours.
I don't want anything too heavy or grim (i.e. no Devil in the White City) because I'm already feeling pretty down and raw from my injury. Nothing even remotely related to medicine. I had an external fixator for two weeks and I'm at my body horror limit.
Some books I liked:
- A Walk in the Woods
- Travels with Charley in Search of America
- Kon-Tiki
- A History of the World in Six Glasses
