Looking for a good book to read on staycation – any recommendations? I usually do audio books and would prefer for various reasons to not have graphic sex scenes. Usually I like Reese’s Book Club picks but I was actually pretty disappointed in How to End a Love story – I’m not a prude, but it felt like it included just really unnecessary and overly graphic sex scenes, to the point where they detracted from the plot. I also have a 7 year old and would love something that doesn’t make scramble if my car bluetooth accidentally starts playing the book I’m listening to.
That said – love Lianne Moriarty books, really enjoyed Hotel Nantucket by Elin Hildebrand last summer, always a fan of Taylor Jenkins Reid. I also love a book is that is both a good book in it’s own right and has a lot of literary merit but feels easy to read – Matt Haig books in particular fall into this category.
Any recommendations?
