I’m currently writing a novel and I realized that one of the central themes of the book and a core belief of one of the characters will relate to femininity.
Looking to read books (fiction or non fiction) that go into detail on classic femininity so that I can better understanding of it.

I found the Bell Jar to be an excellent example of both depression and womanhood – though I took those two more intersecionally haha
I’d recommend picking up either Little Women or something by Austen – there’s a reason they’re so prolific and popular
