Does anyone have recommendations for books targeted at ages 16+ that don't contain any sexual content or plots related directly to sexual abuse, I'm looking for new books to read that I can possibly share with my younger sibling if appropriate and also something to gift a friend, they can be of genres like thriller, psychological thriller, coming-of-age, drama, mystery, really just anything apart from romance. A book I read recently and quite liked the writing style of was how to make friends with the dark by Kathleen Glasgow however her other books do contain sexual content, so if anyone knows books with a similar vibe and reading level (slightly higher reading level is perfectly fine too) please let me know!
