So I read most of the bigger fantasy titles (ex. Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, lord of the rings) and I can't find anything else that I'm interested in reading now, so I decided to come here. I'm open to anything whether it's YA or a children's book I'm not interested in much romance but I'll take anything!

Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins

      Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend

    2. The Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Patricia C. Wrede.

Pretty much anything by Robin McKinley, although don’t start with Deerskin. Outlaws of Sherwood is fantastic, so is Spindle’s End.

Tamara Pierce’s series Circle of Magic and Song of the Lioness are fantastic.

      Young Wizards by Diane Duane.

      Rangers Apprentice by John Flanagan.

The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon.

Princess of the Midnight Ball of Jessica Day George.

The Goose Girl books by Shannon Hale.

Discworld by Terry Pratchett. There are multiple possible entry points, I’d suggest Guards! Guards! or Mort.

The Sea of Trolls by Nancy Farmer.

The Glamourist Histories by Mary Robinette Kowal.

The October Daye books and the Wayward Children series by Seanan McGuire.

      Septimus Heap by Angie Sage.

The Quarkbeast books by Jasper Fforde.

The Squires Tales by Gerald Morris.

The Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica by James A Owen.

The World of the White Rat books by T Kingfisher, and also The Wizard’s Guide to Defensive Baking.

Jane Yolen wrote a number of fantasy books, maybe check out her work. I really liked the Dragons Blood books.

The League of Princes by Christopher Healy.

The Inkworld books by Cornelia Funke. She also wrote Dragonrider, which is excellent.

That’s probably a good start! I’m willing to elaborate on any of these, and I might come back later and share some more.

Peter S Beagle’s *The Last Unicorn* is a deep yet delightful tale. Also relatively short.
