Hello!
I'm searching for books that are beautifully written, maybe even poetic and also carry a meaningful message. Plot and genre aren't as important to me as the writing itself. I love books where the language is so wonderful and poetic that I find myself pausing just to enjoy the words.
For example, "Anne of Green Gables" is a favorite of mine because it is so beautifully written and I could find a quote that I like on nearly every page. I also enjoyed "The Book Thief" and also "The Midnight library". Although the latter wasn't the best book I've ever read, I loved the meaning behind it and found many of its quotes thought-provoking.
If you know books that fit the descriptions, feel free to share them!
By the way – I'm not a native English speaker so German book recommendations are also welcome 😉
