I've been on a romance & fantasy kick lately but nothing seems super satisfying. I feel like I'm flying through books, mindlessly consuming very very similar ones (think Ali Hazelwood & Brandon Sanderson) without them really leaving a mark. Don't get me wrong – I'm really enjoying them but I want to read something different,

I want to read something that resonates with my soul, or makes me think for weeks, or changes my perspective or even my world-view. (The last book that had this effect on me was 'The Book That Wouldn't Burn' by Mark Lawrence.)

I've been trying to find something similar for monthsssss!! I would love to get some recommendations!

I'm really open to any fictional genre (I've never really been able to get into non-fic). But not super dark or depressing or disturbing books either (I get easily triggered). I'm in my late 20s so YA is not very relatable anymore, but if there are any YA suggestions that fit – feel free to suggest, I do enjoy them sometimes 🙂

    Thanks ^_^

You might have read this before in school, but I still recommend reading it again, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
