Last year I reread the Hunger Games which I used to be obsessed with when I was around 12-13. Reading it again at 20, I found that it held up quite well still and I even ended up noticing some details that flew over my head as kid such as Finnick being sexually assaulted etc. Now I’m looking for something in a similar vein, like the types of books that we read as children that were so addictive and took us to a whole different world. (Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Divergent, Shadow Hunters and the list goes on) If anyone has a recommendation for books that have this feel but deal with more mature themes, please let me know! Also, none of that Adam Ellis Wicker Basket types of novels please, lol
