I'm searching for a story where character A and B are close (they can be friends, family, lovers, whatever) but due to unforeseen circumstances they are torn apart by war or natural disaster or something along these lines. And they have to find their way back to eachother. They spend most of the novel looking for eachother. If it's a love story than I prefer female POV, and I like character development so something where along the journey they both become different people.
