So I haven't really read much except some non-fiction books and is just starting. What are those books which you think almost everyone will like or books which beginners will absolutely love.
My go to book rec for people who want to get into reading is Holes by Louis Sachar because it appeals to all ages, has really short chapters, and is super engaging!

Stephen King. And I’m not knocking King, he’s wrote countless classics (but people tend to sneer at him), but a lot of his stuff is extremely accessible

The book that got me into reading as an adult was The Ocean At The End Of The Lane by Neil Gaiman. I liked movies and shows that were adaptions of his work, and it’s super short. You could read it in a day (even as a new reader).
I went from there into The Graveyard Book also by Neil Gaiman… it’s basically his take on The Jungle Book, but if a boy was raised by ghosts in a graveyard instead of animals in a jungle.
That led me down a path of fantasy books and series that I’ve been on for the last 5 years or so.

The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Kline
One of the first books I read when I got back into reading at the beginning of this year and will probably be one of my favourites for years to come – just a lovely, heartwarming story!

Flowers for Algernon, Arc of A Scythe Series (I haven’t read the 4th book tho) and A Man Called Ove.
These were pretty easy reads for me when I was trying to get into reading. One of which really broke my heart.

Hemingway’s The Old Man and The Sea

Maybe tell a few of your favorite movies and people can recommend books that are in the same style.
