In a sense that mc grows up expecting to be the most powerful, grows up training to become the most powerful and ends up becoming the most powerful. Along the way mc has a main love interest and they grow up together and when older they end up together exactly what the did with Percy and Anabeth. Love interest is also very strong. Doesn’t have to start at a young change but I want to see him progress from being weak to being the strongest and I want an amazing love story to go along with it. Might check out the HIVE series by Mark Walden. I won’t spoil the premise but it’s right up your alley, there’s 7 or 8 books
