Hey everyone my (27F) favorite series is Throne of glass. I love everything about every book. Those characters are my soul people. It's my go to when I hit a book slump. I have read the ACOTR and it was fine but it didnt hold a candle to TOG for me. I like romance but I don't want it to be the whole plot. I am the type of person who does NOT have to finish a book, it gets 5 to 10 chapters if I'm not hooked, then back to the shelf. I don't like modern day fantasy's with electricity. I want horses, candles, cobblestone and the ladies should wear dresses to be proper but wear pants cause they got to much ass kicking to do. I want action, fighting, magic and swords. With a sprinkle of falling in love. Will read YA if it's not puppy dog Cinderella kind of love. I hate when charwcter interact like three times and they are madly in love…
I've read alot of series and here is a list of book I been recommended but didn't do it for me:
*Crescent city… snooze fest to me
*Hooked…grotesque
*Plated prisoner series… was okay, bit slow and the characters didn't have enough depth
*kingdom of the wicked serier… I enjoyed but won't be re-reading as the main character I found annoying and dumb
*the stormlight archives…great book loved the throughly clear magic system with very clear limits and a great visual world, not enough romance but a great series in general.
*caraval.. forgettable
*defy the night…cute but too YA for me now
*we hunt the flame… nothing special
*Cruel price… fine, judes a dumb smart person
