I'm looking for sci fi books / authors that tap into themes of the smallness of people / bigness of the universe, but preferably in a more hopeful way. I'd just love to appreciate the vastness of the universe without it being too apocalyptic about the state of humanity.
For reference, I just finished playing the Mass Effect trilogy, and am a big fan of Star Trek TNG, so I'm keen for something along those lines. Thank you in advance!
