I was listening to the lyrics of the Alice Cooper hit 'Poison', and was wondering: can you recommend any books in which the theme of attraction to a toxic partner (or otherwise unhealthy relationship) is explored? I would mostly be interested in a story in which the character knows the relation would not be good for him/her, but still is drawn to it.
Any suggestions?
