Too many self improvement books are just the same point repeated over and over again. I was recently disappointed by Essentialism. The info was good and better than Deep Work but unfortunately both could have just been summed up in a blog post.
I'm looking for books that are packed with useful knowledge instead of just the same 3 long, drawn out points

I generally find better content in more scientifically based books. The two below were both filled with useful information.
The Happiness Hypothesis: Finding Modern Truth in Ancient Wisdom by Jonathan Haidt
Second Wave Positive Psychology: Embracing the Dark Side of Life by Itai Ivtzan
My Personal Best by John Wooden.
The pyramid of success is a great takeaway from his book.
