I've never read a whole book before and want to start. My favorite shows/movies include Fight Club, Evangelion, Black Lagoon, Game of Thrones, Bleach, Berserk, The Boys, Vinland Saga, and Wednesday. Any book recommendations similar to these?

Bernard Cornwall has a series of books which is the basis of the tv show The Last Kingdom. The first book is also called the Last Kingdom. I believe it was originally aimed at teenage boys so it might be easier to read than stuff by George RR Martin (Game of Thrones) or Chuck Palahniuk (Fight Club) if you are not a big reader.
*Neon Genesis Evangelion: ANIMA* by Ikuto Yamashita is a five-book series that is a “what-if” about what would could happen if the Third Impact didn’t happen.
*Iron Widow* by Xiran Jay Zhao
Here’s a shorter reccomendation. {{Something From the Nightside, by Green}} kinda hits one beat from each of those.
