I don’t know if this is what you are looking for but I really loved The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe. Dark Academia New England Harvard vibes, tenured professor in dusty dark libraries and researching witchy shit… weird stuff ensues. Various chapter flashbacks to Salem Witch trials and the past and present beautifully knit together by the end.
