I have to walk to and from my university a lot, and I've experimented with different ways to pass the time during these walks like listening to songs, listenung to youtube, and listening to podcasts through my in ear headphones. However I find these activities unsatisfying and not intellectually stimulating enough. Therefore, I'm left with two main options 1. audiobooks or 2. reading .pdf books on my smartphone while walking. I don't like audiobooks because I can't concentrate so my only option is to read books on my smartphone while walking slowly. Since my time is limited I don't want to waste it just walking. Is it a good idea to read while walking if audiobooks didn't work for me?

If you can’t concentrate on an audiobook while walking, I don’t understand how a book will be easier. In fact, it’s hard for me to imagine being able to walk and read effectively at all. If you can do it, more power to you I guess. Just watch where you’re going.
