hi! i’m looking for a short read with halloween vibes, though it doesn’t have to be themed around halloween or horror — anything witchy, mysterious or mildly spooky will do! preferably minimal romance and possibly a little lighthearted, so nothing extremely gorey or dark beyond what can be considered a feel-good read. i love all the classic childhood/teen novels like harry potter, percy jackson, the hunger games and i’m really into the works of george r r martin right now, if that helps!

I don’t like anything that’s excessively violent or gory but for a simple creepy thriller that gives me Hallowe’en vibes I loved the Lockwood & Co. series by Jonathan Stroud, #1 is “The Screaming Staircase”.
