I decided to rewatch and reread this trilogy by Kristin Gier, and it felt so good and comfy, so id love to read something with the same vibe. I wanna feel like a teenager reading something the same 🙂
I prefer books with a love line, but without details and with an emphasis on the plot and the development of relationships.
Time travel books are okay, but it's not obligatory, l'm looking more on the same energy
- I also reread Hunger games, Mortal instruments and Percy Jackson, HP
And the short description of the story/whats between main characters :
…the dynamic between the two characters is kind of similar to Jace and Clary from the Mortal Instruments. The Hero has been raised his whole life to be a time traveller and the Heroine hasn’t, although she is aware that time travelers exist. But, only one person in each generation is gifted with the power and everyone assumed that person would be her perfect cousin so she was never trained to be a time traveler. The Hero is very know-it-all sometimes and has to teach the Heroine about different time traveler skills and get her out of problems that she sometimes creates due to her ignorance. They both snark at each other a lot and have a dynamic where everyone fawns over the Hero except the Heroine which draws him to her…
( It's better if the book have thoughtful plot and world in the book + the sort of chemistry that the leads had)
