I recently read pretty girls by Karin Slaughter and liked the style but found it WAY too graphic/disturbing. Loved the setup of a rich housewife finding out secrets but I hated the chase that seems to be a theme at the end of every thriller. Looking for something more based on secrets than the gore. Any recommendations would be great 🙂 pls no spoilers!
