Looking for a light hearted, breezy book full of optimism and hope.

My poor mother is having a really hard past 5 years. She got diagnosed with diabetes, breast cancer, and now shes currently awaiting bypass surgery. She does everything right and is the healthiest person I know, but she cant seem to catch a break! She has about a month till her surgery and would love to send her a book that is optimistic and light that can capture her attention for awhile.
