I would love your thoughts about books to read while caring for my new baby, due in a week or so! I imagine I will be both sleep deprived and emotionally sensitive so nothing too heavy or dark but something that keeps my attention.
I have been enjoying reading Anthony Bourdain’s Kitchen Confidential, so maybe another memoir is in order?
Other books I read and enjoyed lately:
True Biz (easy reading but engaging and I learned more about Deaf culture)
The Terraformers by Annalee Newitz (sci fi could be good if it stays pretty light)
Tomorrow Tomorrow and Tomorrow (sufficiently pop and stories about human relationships are good)
Thanks for any ideas!
