A close colleague and friend of mine will be leaving for China in the next month. I would like to gift him a book that can have a great impact on him.
Some background info on him:
He shows great interest in philosophy and is very much an extrovert. He loves people, talking to strangers and staying up till sunrise, having deep conversations with friends. He has a charming and funny personality and doesn't mind to make a fool of himself at times, which I think is a great trait.
He studied architecture and worked at our firm, but barely spoke about anything architecture related as he has so many other interests in life. Although he is only 25 years old, he has thought me many life lessons – some I've implemented, some I've thought are utter bull-crap due to his ability to convince anyone that something is true by his sheer confidence.
He loves nature, fishing, girls, a couple of beers (alot), politics and family. I'm gonna miss the bugger.
PS: His favourite philosopher is Albert Camus and he's mentioned Sigmund Freud alot as well.
Any suggestions will greatly be appreciated, preferably philosophy books, but other genres are welcome too. TYI!
